Thank you for considering joining Manvers Waterfront Boat Club

Membership Fees

Largely run by volunteers, we are able to keep our prices as low as possible in order to be accessible as possible. Everything is done online via our event portal which is called “WebCollect”. This is where you can join the club and maintain your membership e.g. to renew your membership and to book onto a session. Once you have joined you will need to book onto a session every time you wish to participate (currently, this does not apply to model boating).

What your membership covers

  1. Membership to the club is an annual fee which runs for 12 months from the date of joining

  2. Access to all sections of the club, both water and land based and our specialist sections
Once a member, there is no extra cost for all standard club sessions or equipment use on-site - however 'open water swimming' does require an induction for which there is a small one-off fee

  3. Access to the boathouse, including changing facilities and showers

  4. Use of club equipment on-site (boats, paddles and buoyancy aids)

  5. Regular sessions run by qualified coaches

  6. Social gatherings and events throughout the year (such as our Summer Solstice Swim and Halloween Paddle)

  7. Free parking - your registration number is entered onto our system and we have 'number recognition cameras'.

How the club operates

The club is run by a team of skilled volunteers who provide a range of activities for members - which is why we can keep the price so low!

Each discipline has it’s own dedicated facebook page upon which sessions will be posted weekly once the availability of our volunteer coaches is known - links to book on the sessions via our booking portal ‘WebCollect’ will be displayed. Don’t have facebook? This isn't a problem, you can book on direct via our portal at WebCollect (this is where you purchase / purchased your initial membership and where you can maintain your membership e.g. to renew your membership and to book onto a session. Once you have joined you will need to book onto a session every time you wish to participate (currently, this does not apply to model boating).

Session spaces are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
