Several bus routes stop close to Manvers Lake, providing convenient access from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Wath, and surrounding areas.

• Stagecoach Yorkshire operates frequent services from Rotherham Interchange to Golden Smithies Lane, just a short walk from Manvers Lake. The journey takes around 22–26 minutes depending on the service.

By Train

The nearest train station to Manvers Lake is Swinton (South Yorkshire), served by Northern Rail. Trains run roughly every 30 minutes from Rotherham Central, with a journey time of around 10 minutes. From Swinton station, it’s a short onward bus or taxi ride to the lake.
