Running at Manvers Waterfront Boat Club
Our run section is a warm, welcoming group of people who will try to accommodate for all levels and abilities from individuals who want to just run socially or to enter events from 5k up to Ultra marathons. We also offer Couch 2 5k courses as well when there is sufficient demand.
As a club we have at least 3 set run sessions per week
Tuesday night – various times available (see webcollect), coached interval sessions, which is for runners of all abilities and alternates between various locations, see Facebook for details.
Thursday night – various times available (see webcollect), we have group runs again for all abilities with distances of 3 - 6 miles, usually on a suggested route with short cuts or out and back routes available for those not wanting to do the full 6 miles, see Facebook for details.
Saturday morning – various times (see webcollect), Saturdays are usually our longer runs, again from 3 miles but can be as much as 20+ depending on what people are training for. These tend to be slower runs and may set off from different places depending on the route.
