Team Manvers Dragons made a big impact over the weekend at the BDA National Championships in Nottingham. The team, which was formed only seven weeks ago were making their debut at the National Championships. At the end of a hard weekend of racing on the regatta course at the National Watersports Centre the entire team can be justifiably proud of their achievements.
Following a strong performance in the 200m race on Saturday where they qualified for the major final, the mixed crew surpassed themselves by finishing 3rd in the 500m major final on Sunday. The women's and junior teams also performed strongly in their races. The team will continue to train throughout the winter period - if anyone is interested in joining the Dragons please contact Trevor Coldron. Comments are closed.
