Manvers Div 4 Slalom 2019

Manvers Waterfront Boat Club's annual Division 4 canoe slalom event took place at the lake over the weekend of 11/12th May 2019. 

The event saw some strong performances by all of our junior paddlers and promotions to Div 3 for Olivia Smith and Amelia Sissons in the K1 Women Class and  for Jacob Musgrave in K1 Men.

An unexpected bonus was the presence of Helen Darby Dowman (formerly Helen Reeves) an ex GB international slalom paddler and bronze medallist in the 2004 Olympic Games. Helen, whose son Charlie was taking part in his first slalom, very kindly agreed to present the prizes at the end of the event.
