Grassroots Kettlebell League are hosting a competition in order to showcase kettlebell sport to the masses. This fledgling sport originated in Russia and is steadily increasing participation world wide and is essentially endurance weightlifting.
Lifters will complete 5 minute sets of the 3 main disciplines (jerk, snatch and long cycle) and have their sets counted with the aim being to complete as many repetitions as possible. Medals will then be awarded to the winners in each category. The competition is open to everyone from completely new lifters to experienced lifters and everyone in between.
