Manvers Waterfront Boat Club will be hosting a regional British Canoeing "Coach Matters" event over the weekend of 9th and 10th May 2015. The event is aimed at helping paddlesport coaches to stay updated and to provide them with the opportunity of fulfilling the continuous personal development (CPD) requirements of their coaching award. There are a number of CPD modules on offer over the weekend, and also the opportunity to meet coaches from other clubs and exchange ideas and experiences.
The event is open to any current paddlesport coaches or those currently training to become coaches, not just from MWBC but from other clubs both regional and nationwide.
There will be a BBQ at the club on Saturday evening which is open to all those attending the event and also to any club members who would like to come along.
If you would like to attend, download and return the application form with payment.
Unfortunately due to the low number of entries received we have decided to cancel this years Paddle Triathlon which was due to take place on Saturday 18th April. Entry Fees will be refunded to those people who have already submitted an entry to the event.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience and hope to run this event again at a later date.
