Dragon Boat Racing is one of the most exciting and inclusive water sports as well as one of the fastest growing water sports that you can take part in world. The good news is, there is a team right here on your doorstep!
Team Manvers Dragons was created in July 2019 and entered their first British Dragon Boat Racing Association (BDA) league events later in the summer. They also took part in the at the blue ribbon BDA National Championship event held at Nottingham where they successfully gained a third prize despite having only being formed a couple of months previously. We are currently looking to recruit some more members to our team and welcome anyone to come along to our ‘try it training session’ and give it a go! Our competitors the Soaring Dragons will also be down on the lake at the same time so you will get a real feel for the sport, watching the 2 team racing down the lake at speed!
